Jan Benham, CEO of Purèz, has been in the world of holistic beauty and natural cosmetics for over 40 years! Her journey began in 1978, when she specialized in beauty care and holistic health. In the late 80s, she launched her first skincare line, focusing entirely on natural and clean products. In 1982, she gave one of her first radio interviews, talking about health and wellbeing. 

Jan is still full of energy and ideas about holistic health!

In 2015, she started developing a make-up line for Purèz, with one clear goal: to enhance people's natural beauty, without them feeling like they're wearing make-up. Purèz products are made with skin-friendly, natural ingredients and are free of silicones, talc, parabens and other harmful substances. When she took over Purèz in 2022, she also introduced a skincare line especially for sensitive and allergy-prone skin.

Sustainability is very important to us: Purèz products come in reusable packaging, compostable refill bags, and even our lipsticks come in cardboard tubes. The deodorants are completely waste-free and aluminum-free!
